We launched FitzDrake Search 6 years ago with the goal of building an organization that would stand out in a very crowded and fragmented marketplace.
The goal was simple:

Our first idea was the hourly pricing model. With the advent of social media sites like Linked In, Facebook and recruiting tools like Zoom Info, finding people was getting easier by the day. As we thought about our goal, it no longer made sense to charge clients based on a business model that was over 40 years old.
As we continued to question some of the basic assumptions associated with retained search, we started to see new opportunities for continued improvement. We began to ask ourselves, “How can we make it easier for the most talented candidates to find great career opportunities and reduce the amount of time required to search?”

Bill Fitzgerald & Michael Drake

Bill Fitzgerald is a highly regarded executive who has been involved with recruiting for close to 25 years. He has both built and consulted with senior leadership teams and has a superior eye for talent. Bill has held increasingly high-level positions of responsibility with premier companies including AOL, The Martin Agency, Hewlett Packard and Birds Eye Foods. Bill holds a MS in Organization Development from Pepperdine University and a MS in Counseling from the State University of New York at Albany.

Michael Drake is an accomplished search professional with more than 20 years in both corporate (Fortune 30) and boutique agency environments. Prior to FitzDrake Search, Michael served as the Head of Talent Acquisition for Freddie Mac, where he was responsible for rebuilding the entire staffing function and for creating and implementing an executive search function. Michael has held increasingly responsible positions with leading companies including AOL and BDM International. He holds a BA in Political Science from Virginia Tech.
